Video - "The inspiration for “Just Breathe” first came about a little over a year ago when I overheard my then 5-year-old son talking with his friend about how emotions affect different regions of the brain, and how to calm down by taking deep breaths — all things they were beginning to learn in Kindergarten at their new school, Citizens of the World Charter School, in Mar Vista, CA. I was surprised and overjoyed to witness first-hand just how significant social-emotional learning in an elementary school curriculum was on these young minds. The following year, I decided to take a 6-week online course on Mindfulness through Mindful Schools (http://www.mindfulschools.org/), figuring that if my son was learning about this, it only made sense that I should learn too. Within the first week, I felt the positive effects of this practice take root not only on my own being but in my relationships with others. As a filmmaker, I am always interested in finding a subject worthy of filming, and I felt strongly that Mindfulness was a necessary concept to communicate visually. Thankfully my husband, who happens to be my filmmaking partner, agreed. We made “Just Breathe” with our son, his classmates and their family members one Saturday afternoon. The film is entirely unscripted – what the kids say is based purely on their own neuro-scientific understanding of difficult emotions, and how they cope through breathing and meditation. They, in turn, are teaching us all ..."

Video - "If consciousness is just the workings of neurons and synapses, how do we explain the phenomenon of near-death experience? By some accounts, about 3%!o(MISSING)f the U.S. population has had one: an out-of-body experience often characterized by remarkable visions and feelings of peace and joy, all while the physical body is close to death. To skeptics, there are more plausible, natural explanations, like oxygen deprivation. Hows that for an opener.. but what am I leading into ?
I was having a convo earlier with someone who has always been a bit empathic, and had been able to see some things on a spiritual level that others could not since a child. But things at this moment had escalated. And they were considering moving house.
Now the thing is, yes some areas are very active, more active than others. Depending on the history of the area there could be a lot of emotions attached to the area. Emotions like frustration, anger, anxiety, depression, fear etc, all of which a person who is even slightly empathic would pick up on.
And yes, there are some houses or areas that have such a dark history of emotions and bad vibe that one just wouldnt want to live there anyway.
But in general, the simple fact is that no matter where you live, if your ever so slightly sensitive to spirit, you will find that even new houses on new estates have their fair share of spirit breezing through.. and some, you may only be at the point where your only able to see them as shadow, or eyes poking through a milky haze.
It can leave one “out of mind” with fear, confusion, anxiety.. but that feeling is only activated from not yet haven arisen from the halls of the blind… not yet developed both your abilities, or an understanding of what it is you are feeling, sensing, seeing.
I remember the APS team being called into a house that previously another paranormal team attempted a house cleaning at, and ended up telling the couple that there was a demon there and they need to move house. ..
Obviously we were a little more educated and able enough to know that there was no such demon, just an angry passed former land owner causing a bit of trouble. With some education, teaching them how to keep their place protected and cleansed, they had no issue after that, and began to understand more about spirit, what they were feeling and experiencing, and developing some knowledge of how to figure out what is good, not so good and how to handle it all. ..
And thats the key to all things isnt it?
When we begin to form some idea of understanding, the fear just peels away..
and after all..
A shadows just a shadow, well that we know..
But may be we’re all shadows in someone else’s show ?
